Established in 1996, UNR Automotive was previously known as Up ‘N’ Running Garage Services, but we decided on a change of name in 2020 to reflect the professional reputation that our team have worked hard to achieve.

If we discover another worn part that’s in danger of failing, that will affect the price quoted, we will phone for authorisation before carrying out the work.

UNR Automotive
Mitch
Mitch has been interested in cars from a young age and spent many years of
his childhood helping his dad repair cars. He joined UNR after leaving school
and has been with the company for the past 18 years. Mitch is a certified,
Level 3 NVQ technician, an MOT tester, F Gas certified, DSG qualified
technician and a Level 4 qualified Hybrid and Electric Vehicle trained
technician.
In his spare time, Mitch likes to spend time with his family and is a keen football fan. He is a Leicester City season ticket holder; seeing Leicester City lifting the Premier League trophy in 2016, was the best thing to have happened in his life……..well after seeing his kids being born of course.

Jay
Jay has been in the industry since leaving school 9 years ago and he has
been with UNR for the past 5 years. Since being with us, Jay has completed
his NVQ Level 3 qualification and has also gone on to become a qualified
MOT tester and a Level 4 qualified Hybrid and Electric vehicle trained
technician. He continues to enhance his qualifications and attends a number
of training courses each year.
In his spare time, Jay is a keen Formula One fan, following and supporting his favourite driver, Max Verstappen. He is also a huge Notts County supporter where he is a season ticket holder and attends every home game.

Beth
You’ll be greeted by Beth on the phone and in the office, where she’ll look
after you and your vehicle. Beth has been at UNR for over 10 years and has
multiple roles in the business. She manages the front of house, where she
has build great relationships with existing customers and enjoys getting to
know new customers. Beth also deals with the accounting side of the
business.
In her spare time Beth enjoys designing and renovating her home; 5 years in and she’s still got work to do! Beth enjoys weekends away with her family… visiting the Cotswolds is her favourite.

Leo
Leo can be found at UNR around 3 times a week, you’ll often find him laying
in the doorway waiting to greet all the customers. If you find him in the office,
he’ll more than likely jump on the counter wanting fuss!
In his spare time Leo enjoys long walks and generally running into bushes chasing birds ignoring Mitch!

Rosie
Rosie is the newest member of the UNR family and has settled into her
second home nicely. If you don’t see Rosie wandering around the workshop,
she’ll be under Beth’s desk having a puppy nap!
Rosie enjoys going for walks with Leo and exploring the big wide world! Oh
and eating treats…..hint hint for your next visit!
